Start with the material, not only the model

Different materials require different torque, cutter geometry, feeding control, screen opening, and wear protection. A tire shredder, plastic shredder, metal shredder, and solid waste shredder should not be quoted from the same basic assumptions.

Match the shredder to the output target

Some projects need rough volume reduction before sorting. Others need controlled output before granulation, washing, separation, baling, pulping, pyrolysis, or RDF preparation. The output target changes the machine direction.
